As you are not present when your application is
reviewed by the GMC, we strongly advise that you include with your application
an up-to-date snapshot of yourself as a practicing doctor in the form of a
comprehensive 360-degree appraisal.
Our 360-Degree Appraisal Service provides you with a
current assessment of your clinical practice relating to the seven points which
the GMC will assess you against for inclusion on the Specialist Register:

Tailored for use in both primary and secondary
care, the whole process is administered by questionnaire using a
web-based system, making it simple and accessible for all. All that is
needed is the name and e-mail address of your appraiser/facilitator and your
e-mail address; we will do the rest. Even if you aren’t comfortable with
computers, we have a telephone helpline and ways around you having to touch a
computer.
You will be provided with a detailed report at the
end of your 360-Degree Appraisal Service which you can include as part of your
documentary evidence to support GMC CESR application.
