Developmedica is committed to delivering a high quality level of customer service and we strive to respond to all complaints within seven days of receipt. In the event of a complaint, please email info@developmedica.com
In terms of products, Developmedica guarantee the right of the consumer to cancel their order for at least fourteen working days after delivery; in terms of services, this means fourteen days after the contract is agreed or after the consumer has agreed to the service starting. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with any of the Developmedica learning systems, please write to us within seven days of purchase. Further information may be found at this government link.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Developmedica is also a certified member of the SafeBuy organisation which means that we are required to adhere to the following standards of practice:
- Adhere to the terms of the Sale of Goods Act, the EU Distance Selling Regulations and the EU Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications
- Conform to the Data Protection Act 1998
- Provide security for the processing of credit card transactions
- Include physical location and contact details for themselves on their website
- Display the total price consumers must pay for goods including delivery costs and provide a clear explanation of the delivery procedures
- Advise the consumer if ’cookies’ are required for the processing of data
- Not use ’spam’ for marketing purposes
- Avoid exploitation of children
Course cancellations made by clients four weeks or more prior to the course will receive a full refund of the course fees, minus an administration fee of £50 per course which will be made. For cancellations made by clients less than two weeks prior to the start date of the course, no refund of fees will be made. We urge clients to arrange fully refundable travel arrangements as we cannot be held liable for non-refundable travel tickets. We would also like to clarify that in order for delegates to receive a certificate of attendance they must attend any given course in its entirety. If delegates fail to notify Developmedica of their attention not to attend the course, no refund will be given and options to transfer to an alternative date will also not be available. All requests to cancel should be made in writing (email is acceptable) to info@developmedica.com
Please note that we will endeavour to move a delegate from their original course date to a future course date if we are given more than four weeks notice. If you request to move course dates within four weeks of a given course we will only be able to accommodate this if we are able to substitute your place with another delegate. There will be a £50 administration fee. We also reserve the right to move course dates and venues. All requests to move should be made in writing.
For booking of 1-2-1 sessions, refunds or date transfers cannot be made as the facilitators will have booked time off to accommodate for this together with incurring fees for room bookings.
Books
By law, customers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of a book within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered.
Where you are withdrawing from your purchase of a book within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will require notification of this in writing to enable us to refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:
- Where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we’ll refund the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred, retaining any incurred credit/debit card transaction fee
- Where you are returning an entire order, we’ll refund applicable per-item delivery charges and the per-delivery charge that you incurred
- We will refund only standard (Airmail) postage charges for items delivered outside the UK
- Where we collect an item from you, we reserve the right to recover the costs of collection from you
We will not refund the cost incurred by you for returning the item to us and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase unless you are returning the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is defective. All items must be returned to us in ‘as new’ condition. Any books returned damaged will not be refunded. Please note that we will only be able to dispatch items for next day delivery if the book order is made before 16.00pm.
Application and Interview
If you are unsatisfied with the quality of the service you have purchased, or have had the stated deadline on said service infringed by Developmedica, you may request a refund in writing with seven working days of the service being delivered, or deadline expired. Refund requests relating to service quality will be assessed in a fair and judicial manner and will be settled at the discretion of Developmedica.
Please be aware that failure to respond within the requested timescales of your service may result in Developmedica being unable to meet your completion deadline, for which we are not responsible. Failure to contact us for more than 28 days, without some form of prior notice, will result in automatic closure of your service, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
eLearning Courses
If you are unsatisfied with the quality of the service you have purchased, you may request a refund in writing with seven working days of subscribing to the eLearning Course. Refund requests relating to product quality will be assessed in a fair and judicial manner and will be settled at the discretion of Developmedica.
